Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart

When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves. There are always two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. How soon will you realise that the only thing you do not have is the direct experience that there is nothing you need that you do not have? The best cure for worry, depression, melancholy, brooding, is to go deliberately forth and try to lift, with sympathy, the gloom of somebody else. Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.

Forgiving those who hurt us is the key to personal peace. One important key to success is selfconfidence. An important key to selfconfidence is preparation. The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart. Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. Dwell in possibility. We outgrow people, places, and things as we unfold. We may be saddened when old friends say their piece and leave our lives... but let them go. They were at a different stage and looking in a different direction How soon will you realise that the only thing you do not have is the direct experience that there is nothing you need that you do not have?
Be yourself everyone else is already taken. Forgiving those who hurt us is the key to personal peace. Our awesome responsibility to ourselves, to our children, and to the future is to create ourselves in the image of goodness, because the future depends on the nobility of our imaginings. I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness or abilities that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. You have to believe in yourself.
